| Ok she has learned to ring the bells at the door but she is doing it for the treat that I was using to get her to learn. So now she runs to the door to ring the bell and waits for her treat. (we have also taught her that to ring the bell, means the door opens and she goes outside, but she does not care, she still wants her treat, and no potty) I know she does not have to go potty, because she continues to do this 5 minutes after I have taken her out and she has gone poo and pee. So how do I train her to do it only when she has to go? |

| Uh-oh! I can only suggest to get away from the treats except for potty. I didn't use treats to train Muffin to ring the bell. Heck! She just likes to ring the bell to hear it ring sometimes and other times she'll ring it to get me to come in that part of the house.

| I started using the treats because she was scared of the bells. I think she is still a little scared of them, but she will ring them for the treat. I can say, she has become a lot more comfortable with the bells since the treats. |
