| Oh lord snap this I just got off the phone with this dog photographer I met at the dog show. I had an appointment with him tomorrow to get the girls picture taken... So I decided to ask him a ball park of how much this would be before I go bopping over there. He charges a "sitting" fee of $150.00 per dog (so that's 300.00), and then his smallest protrait is $475.00 I cancelled.

I Love My Babies Donating Member | I would have cancelled too.... right after I had a heart attack! I can't believe anyone would charge that much. Is that person busy? How could anyone afford it? He must think he does great work. LOL

| That is outrageous! He must be very impressed with himself. I don't blame you one bit for cancelling.

But he asks me, didn't my assistant tell you the prices, and I said no, and after he told me, I told him I just retired (and I have Maya's spay, microchip, and baby teeth pulling ahead of me next monday and you guys KNOW that is going to be horrific), and I can't afford something like this at this time.

| I swear I am so glad he called and I didn't get them all dolled up just to go to Midtown and get my face busted.

Donating YT Addict | i looked at his pictures....he's good but not that good. i think some photographers are way to high when they don't have to be. my neighbor takes pictures. she doesn't even charge a sitting fee because she knows people don't have alot of money these days.

I'd be anxious to hear what she has to say...I felt like a poor relation cousin on the phone, and I could hear the "Ithought so" in his voice.
