| Uh Oh So I am set to pick up my baby Riot a week from Monday. I just got an email from my breeder confirming the details of what time etc I will be there, and she sent two new pictures of him. She is calling him Deeker, and when I have saved the previous pictures, they were all saved as Deeker 1,2 etc as in what she saved the pictures as on her computer. But these new ones say Starlite 1 and 2. I sent her back an email saying he must have changed quite a bit as he doesn't look like the same dog, but I am wondering if I should contact her and tell her about the name on the photos being different and maybe she just attached the wrong photos?? I saw the pictures and felt that this was a different dog, do you think he looks like the same puppy? #1--Deeker/Riot at 4.5 weeks #2--Deeker/Riot at 7.5 weeks #3 and #4--"Starlite" or if it IS the same dog, he would be just over 10 weeks. I feel it may have been an honest mistake attaching the wrong picture and don't want to over-react, but what if something fishy is going on?? I know once he comes home I will fall in love with him no matter what, but the superficial part of me is wondering where his cute went lol Last edited by skellington; 02-14-2009 at 11:35 AM. |

| If you look at the first pic compared to the last the brown above the eyes looks different, but they change so much between 4 weeks and 10 weeks. They are just cute as buttons... |

Donating YT 30K Club Member | It's hard to tell because the last picture is head on the others are more side views. I hope she responds soon. If it is a different dog they are both cute.

| It doesn't look like the same puppy to me either. Hopefully it was just an honest mistake.

| Well she just emailed me back and said... "Well, he is for sure the same dog. The pictures never do them justice I don't think. I know you will be very happy with him. Thanks and see you soon!" She is about 4 hours away and I visited her facility about a year ago and she seemed wonderful as well as her dogs, but I haven't actually met my soon-to-be pup due to the distance and saving up my days off for when he comes home instead of driving the 8 hour round trip to see him. He just looks so completely different! Hopefully he was just not up for pictures yesterday and was having a bad hair day? |

| I would just email her back and say "sorry, I just got confused because the name on the pix are different. The first two you sent me said Deeker and these two say Starlight? I just wanted to be sure you had'nt attached wrong pix thats all. Thanks" or something like that. Be polite, maybe it is an honest mistake or maybe it is the same pup and she changed his name ??? He is cute anyway and I would'nt worry too much so long as he is healthy!
