| I would like to thank EVERYONE on Yorkie Talk Forum You have all been SO incredibly helpful on this forum. I am so happy to see that at least 90% of the time everyone gets along! Everyone made me feel more then welcome even though I did not own a Yorkie. With all of your help, all of your suggestions, and honestly, all of your stories of your WONDERFUL dogs..... we have made a decision. We will not be getting a Yorkie. And while I am kind of bummed about that, I am not at the same time. I absolutely ADORE the breed but because of all your help, we have decided that they just would not be the best fit for our family. I went into this research knowing I would be turning down alot of breeds I adore but I am only doing it because I want our next dog to be a great match for my family.... So, while a part of me is sad, the other part of me wants to THANK EVERYONE for all their honest answers and help and I am very happy to know that the dog I do bring into my home will be one that works well and makes both us and the dog happy. We are currently looking at the Norwich as that is the breed that so far fits exactly what we are looking for.... we will see as I continue my research. My husband is just in love with them. So, thank you again for all you help and for helping me make a decision and make the right one for my family right now. I do hope someday that I will get a Yorkie... I will then be back! |

| well done on making the right decision for your family. So many people dive in with both feet, only to find out that they have picked a pup that looks cute, but that isnt right for them. Good luck in your search and hope you find a wonderful doggy friend that will love you as much as im sure you will love them. |

| A very responsible decision, and not easily made, I'm sure. Best of luck with the Norwich.

I would like a Norfolk Terrier. They are absolutely adorable. But just because you aren't getting a Yorkie doesn't mean you can't stay on YT.

| I will more then likely keep on here as I love to read about others and their humorous tales. I still love the breed and it was not an easy decision to make to say that they are probably not the best for my family(right now).... but I still love to see them and read about them.... Thank you for your comments! |
