Oh yes, he got plenty of lovin' and treats after he alerted us! Afterwards, when we were giving him a lot of praise and letting him know how much we loved him, he was totally nonchalant about it, like "Hey, it's no big deal, it's MY HOME too ya know, I don't want MY HOME burned down, you silly humans, couldn't you smell it 5 minutes ago when I STARTED barking?"...

By the way, Winky was just laying down and chillin' like nothing was amiss, for you Winky fans out there...

Yoda - I knew hanging out with super heros was a good thing. Look at all the super powers you have! Glad all is well at your house!

We really do need to pay attention to the creatures around us - what a great reminder
