| Another thing I love - they are already at the bottom of the stairs before i even reach the top step and because we have a baby gate at the bottom of the stairs, they run all the way back up to me to make sure I'm still coming, then immediately run straight back down and are all the way down in an instant. I also love how Chip growls during every step he takes going down stairs... almost like he has to have his presence known and make a grand entrance. Silly pups!

| So many things...so little time, but I'll try. I love the way Prince rolls over on this back when I come home so I can rub his tummy, the way his plays with his daddy, and the way he cocks his head when you say "walk", also when he chews his food, when he lets you know that it is time to play, when he kisses me through the day and looks at me with his beautiful brown eyes.

Living My Yorkie Dream Donating Member | Well obviously, from everyones multiple replies to this thread, there is no such thing as one "cutest" thing our yorkies do. There definitely are too many to choose from. But here are ones that top my charts; one for each of my fur-kids...... Lucky - ever since we got him at the age of 14 weeks, he didn't claim a spot on my lap to snuggle up to sleep. Nope, when I sit on the couch, Lucky has always climbed up to my shoulders and then down onto my chest to lay down to sleep. Now I am not SO well endowed, so inevitably I always end up crossing my arms across my chest for added leverage to hold him up there He's done this since day one..............and is now 4 years old. Toby - My Toby is like no other dog I have ever had. He is the sweetest, and I mean sweetest little guy ever! My favorite thing (well okay, there are two things) about him is 1. He doesn't give kisses. How can no kisses be a favorite you ask ? Well instead of jumping & climbing all over me like a crazy dog when I come home (like Lucky & Halle....which I do love them to do BTW), Toby will excitedly, but gently climb up my chest til we are face to face & when I coo at him to give me kisses, instead he will use his paw to gently touch my face and as I continue to talk to him sweetly, he will end up pawing at his own face like he's being shy or something. It is just to sweet and so cute. Another little quirk he has that I've never seen before is that it is very rare that he will go outside without taking a toy with him. When we let the dogs know it's time to go outside, Toby will surely run and grab the nearest toy to him to take along. There have been many times that after walking around the backyard, I'd come back in with a handful of "lost" toys. Halle - Well aside from just plain being my "cute" little girl, the cutest thing that comes to mind is her greeting when we come home. We keep them gated in the hall/bedrooms area while we're gone. As we come in the patio doors, we can already hear the boys barking..............and Halle's very high pitched, shrill bark, yip, whatever you might call it! Wow, I'm surprised it doesn't shatter the windows. When I get to the gate she is still greeting me at the top of her lungs & jumping quite high, and she really doesn't quite down until she's up in my lap smothering me in kisses. As shrill as her greeting is, it is music to my ears and heaven to come home to.

| For Samson I love when he sits on my lap and just turns his head and looks at me as if to say, "I am ready for you to scratch my back now". I have long nails and I scratch his head and back. He just stands on my lap and his eyes close and you can tell he is in heaven. For Harley I love that he has the baby doll face and he can't jump on the couch yet so he looks at me with that sweet face, his dark eyes stare into my eyes and he makes a sound to let you know he wants to be on the couch with you to snuggle.

| Lets see , a favorite thing ? I can't think of just one I love that when I pet her and then I stop she will go over to my hand and nudge her way under it for me to pet her again My dh thinks it's so cute that whenever he picks her up and pets her , she yawns...everytime ! I love the way she stands on her back legs and bats her paws at our other dog like she is boxing. She can stand upright for the longest time just bating around her little paws

| When Prada wants to play, she follows us around, walking only on her two hind legs, or she'll hop in them! I love it.

| Ms Daisy is a total lap dog, and usually wants nothing more than to sit on my lap or lots of times my shoulder while I surf. She begs for me to pick her up all the time so she can nap on your lap or shoulder. Mr Gatsby is not a lap dog or a licker and is much less high strung. He is really cute when you scratch behind his ears and he closes his eyes and looks like he's in heaven. One joint behavior that I find amusing is that when ms Daisy begs to be picked up, Mr Gatsby gets jealous, but does not want to be picked up, instead he wants me to set Daisy back down so that can play. He will jump up and bark until I set her back on the floor (unless he's in the mood for a nap as well). So this being the case, its hard for them to both get what they want at the same time |

| Cute things that Zekie does For one thing, he loves to practice killing several of his toys. He makes the most ungodly sounds. If it were a real rat, it would not stand a chance. Also, we have several doors that are about 1 inch or better off the floor, and he loves to have us on one side and him on the other and then play under the door with him. He is so cat like. I also have a toy on a stick that he loves to play with, just like a cat would. |
