| Bad breath while teething Reggie has lost several teeth and several new ones are coming in. For the past week his breath has been horrible. Adding to that the fact that he got sick and was vomiting for 2 days didn't help any. I have read that it is not uncommon for them to get bad breath while teething. He has a couple different Nylabones to chew on and before he got sick Old Mother Hubbard doggie biscuits but we are having to withold those for now until his tummy is fully well. I tried brushing his teeth some, which he hates! But it does offer temporary relief from the bad breath. Any other suggestions? How long does this last? |

| he probably has bad breath from the blood when he looses a tooth. I noticed when fiona was loosing her baby teeth that her mouth stunk! it was mainly from dried blood. I would just not worry about it. If it gets real bad, you can get gels, or just use your finger and wipe his teeth off.

| I'm not a fan of the idea of adding anything to his water since he has such a sensitive tummy. I guess I will just keep brushing his teeth when I can. |

| how old is he? if they are baby teeth falling out, i wouldnt worry about brushing them. Fiona is 11 months old and i have NEVER EVER brushed her teeth, the dry kibble and chew toys/treats do wonders for her gorgeous teeth!
