| Moaning Hi Guys, Just wanted to know whether any of your yorkies moan when you pick them up, its not exactly a moan and I dont know how to explain it, its like she makes soft little noises when I pick her up or hug her or when she falls asleep in my neck, Bella is 3 months old now. I've heard so much about a colapsed trachea/air passage that Im a tad worried now.

| I think sometimes we catch them with their lungs full and picking them up forces the air out with a little noise. But yeah, you're probably just really paranoid...happy to have you in the club! I feel like we need a support group sometimes. "Hi, my name is Teresa and I'm a paranoid Yorkie Momma. I haven't freaked out over my babies in the last 30 minutes and I'm really happy about my accomplishment. WAIT! What was that noise? Kids, are you ok? Darn! Hi, my name is Teresa and I'm a paranoid Yorkie Momma. I haven't freaked out over my babies in the last 30 seconds." Of course, Bella could just be a little talker. Gracie Ruth is very vocal and has a lot of different sounds and volume levels. Trust me, you'll know a 'bad moan' sound when you hear it.

| yeah it seems to be more of a "oooh I love you, give me a treat" moan! Lol She is very vocal my little one, when I shower she barks and cries, I dont quite know whether she wants to jump in or me to jump out, she is not too fond of bathing so I presume its the latter!

| I love how talkative my Gracie is, especially when I come home from work. After the initial greeting, she'll run get the "toy du jour" and bring it to me all the while yammering and chittering. It's as if she's telling me all that she and the toy did that day. I've watched her arrange her toys "just so" and then proceed to play out some scenario with them. She'll love on some and discipline some and run around moving them here and there all the while carrying on an entire conversation, making so many different sounds. I just love how vocal she is.

| I know exactly the noise that you mean. My Rosie made this noise more when she was pregnant and we went to move her or pick her up. Not as much when she isn't pregnant. Her sister doesn't make this noise though!! Funny how some do and some don't!

| Yep, Bailey moans when I pick her up. I think she's a little annoyed? She doesn't seem to like getting picked up - unless its on her terms. If I ask for a kiss - she turns her cheek every time!!! LOL Its hilarious!!

| Piper makes a moaning noise when I pick him up, but he doesn't seem to be in any pain.
