Yorkies and babies? Some questions...

Congrats on the baby!

I was pregnant with my youngest when I got Sebastian. I was worried about bringing the baby home. But, for a long time he just treated the baby like an extension of me. Even now that the baby is almost a year old and crawling around, Sebastian is still very good with him. And, he has always only been good with my children...he isn't overly fond of the neighborhood kids...they are too wild and give him a scare! My husband brought home a little blanket that the baby was wrapped in at the hospital and gave it to Sebastian. By the time the baby came home he was used to his scent. It all worked out very well, and I hope it also works out well for you.

(Amelia is laid on the sofa and I was at the side of her the entire time, she was not left alone with Gypsy for any period of time - I can't believe I even have to say that but I know there will be comments otherwise)

You can see the photos alot clearer when you click on them. I put several together for each one which is why they look so small on the post, click and you'll see what I mean.

How sweet are those pictures! She looks so interested to see the little one and figure out what exactly she is.


You guys make me feel much better and a lot less paranoid. Thanks so much for the help and advice.

Thanks. It just shows though that when you do everything you can from the very begining you can get a great bond between them established before the baby even gets here.
