Zeus's bedding smelled like pee too many times even soon after washing and it occurred to me why. Whether or not he pees on his pee pads or on the floor, he walks back into it most of the times with his paws!! So even though he did it on his pad, his pee is spread on the floor as he walks away unless I'm right there to pick him up. I love those hairy paws except for this issue!! I don't expect a solution from anyone - i'm just venting!!!!!!

LOL...welcome to YT. Yep they all do it. As he gets older I think it will cut down more.

I have what we refer to as a Pee Pee Feet, Jr. and Pee Pee Feet, Sr. at my house!

May I make the following 2 recommendations:

UGODOG Dog Litter Box Toilet | Indoor Dog Potty | Pee Pee Pad

INDOOR DOG POTTY for: dog house training, housebreaking puppies, dog and puppy training

Well, it is reassuring to know that Zeus is not "lame-brained." He really likes to check his pee out after he does it!!! Thank you for sharing. I follow his tracks and clean whenever I am there. I actually can trust him most of the times to pee on his pads - I have enough of them on the floor :-)

Both products look FANTASTIC. Which one do you use. Roxy is the name of Zeus's mom :-)

We use the ugodog, but both are basically the exact same thing. The size of the ugodog was our determining factor. The wizdog is a little bigger. The cool thing about these is that once they are used to it, you can stop buying potty pads and just use newspaper!

This is a little different, but Nikko has pee pee paws too... He goes potty outside, and it seems like he aims his pee stream right at his left front paw every time. Gross! He even cranes his neck so he can watch it happening, lol.

Just got to say I love the name Zeus! My Zeus likes to walk into his pee also and I wipe his paws down with baby wipes before bringing him back in the house.
