				 | How accurate is the Puppy Growth Chart? Boy I am hoping it's wrong b/c it indicates my girl is gonna be tiny!! I was just wondering if those of you with adult dogs had used it or worked in reverse to see it's accuracy? Love to hear from lots of you! |

				 | glad you asked me this. I was under the impression she was 2 weeks older than she actually is! (Not that it made a huge difference in the chart--but in how I think and approach her training/developmental expectations.) Okay---she was born 11/20/08 making her 10 weeks and at today's appointment she weighed 1lb 7oz (23oz). Yikes! I am hoping she a (healthy) 5 pounds! I have 5 boys and she needs to have a bit of girth---lol!! |

				 | Weight I am wondering about size also. My baby girl is 12 weeks and weights 2 lb 13 oz. Her mother is 5 lb and father is 6lb. What size do you think she will be. She was the runt of the litter. Thanks.

				 | You double the weight at 12 weeks and it gives you the adult weight. It sounds like she will be close to 6lbs. Thats a good weight I have a 6 lber and shes small yet sturdy

				 | If your little one is 1.7 lbs...making her 23 ounces at 10 weeks, then the puppy chart says she will only be 3 1/2 lbs when mature. She should make it to at least 4 lbs, maybe a little more. What size were her parents?

				 | 1.7 lbs = 27.2 oz. So, according to the chart, at 10 weeks, 4 to 4.5 lbs.

				 | I'm confused as well. My puppy is 4.6 pounds and he is 15 weeks old. He was 2.6 pounds when I got him and he was 8 weeks old. Now I'm not sure what to expect when he is full grown. Can anyone help me. I don't think I'm converting anything right. My major is English, not math. Help? |
