YorkieTalk Newbie! | ![]() Im having trouble with my yorkie, I think she is upset with me. We had some problems with our other two dogs and ended up giving them away (a min pin and a mix) and now zoey is acting wierd. I take her out to go to the bathroom and she wont go and as soon as I let her in she goes on the floor. Sometime I cant ever get her to come out of her crate she just lays in there for hours. We plan on getting another yorkie, but it wont be anytime soon, and there is no other little dogs around for her to play with. What should I do? |

| ![]() Have you given her anything different to eat recently..i am just wondering if she is feeling unwell if she is lying in her crate a lot ,does she have much energy. i know the toileting thing can be difficult Harley is 18 months and still has accidents especially in the winter as he hates to be outside when its cold..what i do is ..i keep a belly band on him at all times in the house ,only comes off when he goes outside then that way i dont get upset if he has an accident and theres no mess...some yorkies just take a lot longer to get it.

| ![]() It's possible that she has a bug, but also more likely she is stressed over the sudden loss of 2 of her pack. If the throwing up continues, you will need to get her to the doctor, dehydration is a serious thing with these little ones. For a little while just try spending as much time with her as possible to ease her anxiety and keep reassuring her that she is not going anywhere. That this is her forever home.

| ![]() She might not be feeling well if she lays in the crate for hours. I am sure she is not upset with you. They don't hold grudges.

| ![]() I'm sure she's missing her buddies. We once had to separate a boxer and a cocker after many years. The boxer moped for about a month. It would tear me up. Try to spend lots of time with her and see if she can visit with some other dogs to play occasionally. |

| ![]() I do hope she gets to feeling better soon. I can't imagine my stress level if Bentley wasn't up and about just about every minute of the day. Bentley doesn't like the cold either so maybe that is an additional check against you regarding pottying in the house. Let us know how it goes and we will keep her in our prayers.

| ![]() She will be missing her "friends" - one of my sister's dogs died in the summer and her dog moped around for a long time afterwards! |
