| Help!! My Yorkie is 7 months old, and for the past couple of weeks he's been eating/licking his feces and pee ... GROSS!! Why is he doing this? Does anyone have any advise they can give me to make him stop doing that?

| hmmm, the pee thing is new to me. I've never heard of one of them doing that. But I'm sure there is someone on here that has. Have you asked your vet about this? I'm thinking it could be an indicator of something his body is needing. Good luck, I'm really curious to see what others might have to say.

| Help I have never heard of them licking pee. If they eat poop, it could be a lack of potassium, try giving bananas. Saw this on Cesar .

Donating YT 1000 Club Member | I saw Victoria talk about this on It's me or the Dog, she also said it was the food that the dog was eating. The are not getting the nutrients they need. If I remember she changed the food and also this particular dog was engulfing his food which was another sign of malnutrition due to the cheap food. So she actually would only let the dog eat a litte food at a time so he would eat slower. After the new food and technique was introduced the dog was no longer interested in eating his feces. |

| I have also heard that poo eating is connected to the dog's diet, and lack of vital nutrients.. I am unsure as to what is going on with the pee licking
