| Looking for a male yorkie in the Bay Area Hey everyone, I'm having trouble finding a legitimate yorkie breeder in the bay area. I am looking to take him home within the next two months, as it is around the time of my little brother's birthday. Please feel free to PM me or reply to this thread if you can give me guidelines or know of any good breeders in the Bay Area. Thanks in advance!!! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | Welcome! I will try to dig up a card I have from a highly recommended breeder. I just wanted to warn you about going on craig's list or something similar. Just the other day I met a woman with two yorkies she got off craig's list. These dogs were darling, but she said that one had cost her $4K in vet bills - it had a health condition that the previous owner did not disclose to her. So make sure you go with someone who will give you a health guarantee. |

| Thanks Yea, I'm staying away from using newspapers, or craigslist. I tried contacting a friend who purchased a yorkie about a year ago, but it seems her breeder doesnt have any pups for sale right now. If you can find that card, that would be great. Thanks! |
