| Starting to think he's not full yorkie, what do you think? I got Gizmo about 2 weeks ago and he's about 9 1/2 weeks old now. I was told by the breeder that he was a pure bred yorkie. Gizmo's mom is AKC certified and supposedly his dad is too but the owner of Gizmo's dad took off with the ladies money before she could get AKC papers from him. She also said that's why she was selling them for so cheap and had a law suit pending against this guy and that if she ever did get the AKC papers she would give us a copy of it. I'm starting to think that Gizmo is not pure bred because he doesn't look like the other yorkies that are around the same age. If so, I have no idea what mix he would be! I know his mom is definitely a yorkie though! I still love my little guy regardless but would like to know what people think! |

| I see why your questioning if he is a full bred Yorkie.... My guess he is a mix of something too. I am thinking perhaps a Chi. But, that is only a guess. He sure is a cutie regardles of what the other half of him is .

| plus, FAter sepanding the last 24 hours educating myself on breeders, I see alot of those "red flags" People keep telling me about. You got him at 7 and 1 half weeks old. Yorkies shouldnt leave mom until 12 weeks. Breeder made up a great excuse as to why the dads papers werent in (A responsible breeder wouldnt breed OR buy a dog that wasnt championed and had papers and certificates to prove it. See guys! See, Im finally understanding. I will NOT be buying a dog from the breeder in one of my preivious posts! |

| i was also thinking a yorkie chi mix but regardless he is a cutie i think it is awful if the breeder did indeed dupe you, but i am happy he found a wonderful home with you!

| Yeah, I'm thinking he's either a yorkie min pin mix or a yorkie chi mix. Its so hard to tell though! I've been looking at different pictures online and I just don't know! But he is a little cutie and a spaz! |
