Some dogs try to hide pain ana if he is having neurologic symptoms, how do you know he has feeling in some parts of his body? He is still not responding correctly. This could correct itself or it could kill him. I don't think anybody could say except for maybe a vet. Just checking reflexes on a small dog who has been stepped on isn't enough. It sounds like he has been damaged neurologically and he may need more intense care.

I would get a second opinion from an animal hospital or neurologist immediately.

WOW NO X-Ray are you serious? really? My vet would have X-Rayed IMMEDIATELY In a situation like this. Regardless of No Sign of pain. Something just doesn't sound right . Did you get him an earlier appt I noticed you said you were going at 1...? What else did she do for him? Did you tell her he was paralyzed for a bit and wouldn't move and laying in an AKWARD position?I am sorry but this puppy needs help! She didn't even check him for anything, he could be bleeding internally or have slipped disks or anything. I am just very thrown off by this. He should have been RUSHED to the vet immediately.

i really think that your puppy is still in critical stage, and may die if you don't get him help. can you afford to take him to a different vet? if you can't afford to take him to a good vet to get the treatment he needs, you really need to look into groups that can help with that. i don't think the vet you went to did the right thing. certainly sound like she is not very good to me. you need to go see a vet that knows what they're doing! get a second opinion. i know you care about and love your baby, this is really urgent. please get him help!

Recently, a family lost their puppy to the same type of accident your puppy suffered from. A lot of YT'ers tried to tell the grandparent to have the puppy seen in a ER vet that night, they did not and the baby did not make it. THis is why it is vital to take your puppy in right now! He could have a skull fracture or any kind of severe injury that can't be dianosed by just looking at him or touching him. That is not good enough. Your little puppy should not be walking in circles at all.

I am heartbroken to see that this is very real. I hope the second opinion finds this baby's problem. Prayer's coming for you honey. I am glad your getting help here and are taking this very seriously. Good luck to you and your baby with the second vet.
