My husband loves our two baby girls and he doesn't mind walking them or being in public with tiny dogs. He does draw the line at them wearing dresses when he is with them. Doesn't mind the topknots with bows but hates when I dress them up. He says I am "obsessed" HAHA he is the one that is obsessed with them. He lets them chew up his leather work belts. I'm getting tired of buying him new ones, LOL. |
At first my husband tried to be "cool" too (WHAT A JOKE!). It didn't take long to catch him telling Bentley how much he loved him and openly give out all those kisses. He has no problem proudly showing Bent to all our neighbors, friends, whoever will stop and talk to him. And he found out that they are quite the lady magnet. He tells me that its not his fault that he and Bentley are so adorable and all the ladies want to talk to them. Yes, I know they only want to see the dog but if it makes him feel better :) |
This whole thread is cracking me up..lol Before we got Bella he kept saying that she wasnt a real dog, and that a perfect dog would be a big dog like a lab. Well, things changed after about a week. Everytime we go anywhere he would ask do they allow puppies.....so HE bought a puppy purse so we could take her with us where ever we go. She has him wrapped around her little paw....Its so cute He still says he wants a big dog, but thats not going to happen anytime soon, maybe another Yorkie though ;) |
I didn't read through all the comments so sorry if someone already said this but tell him Brett Farve owns a yorkie (Jazzmin). |
I LOVE that he asked you that!!!! I'll just tell you that a few of our sales reps have yorkies (and they are not guys you would think would) and several of them have told me that he wish they had one before they were married because they are "chick magnets" LOL :D |
Yes! this is very familiar! i wanted a yorkie for christmas so bad! my husband told me no every time i brought it up. he said that he would give her away if she pooped on the floor or made a mess...well we have had her for over a month and he loves her. he insists on getting up to feed and potty her. he gets upset if she is napping somewhere other than his lap...i also here him calling her "pretty girl" these little creatures melt even the mocho mans heart! |
I think Brett Farve has a home in Melbourne Beach....Nikki..shall we visit????? |

sweet! now i can tell chris that brett farve has a yorkie and he'll reconsider that squirmy sour face he makes when i make him hold the carrier :p its sooooo funny the day we brought riley home we made a pit stop at petsmart and i had chris hold riley so i could do the shopping and all the little girls were AWWWWWing & OOOOOOOHing at him so he walks over closer to me and goes "babe will you hurry up i feel so feminine :(" lol its too cute! |
One of our clients that comes to our Day Camp every now and again has 2 yorkies. Dad usually picks them up and when they come out to him, they're so excited to see him and he "loves them up" right in the lobby, not ashamed at all. I can see some men doing this though (hmmmm maybe my b/f in particular) because they want a big tough dog instead of a little yorkie, but there's those men that absolutely LOVE their little furbabies deep down, even if they don't always show it. =) |

My hubby was hesitant to get a small dog, or any dog for that matter. But now that we have Meg, he is crazy about her. The other day she fell asleep on his chest in the tv room. I was in the office and hear him calling ever so softly, "Nicole! Come here!" I walked to the tv room only to see her curled around his neck and hear Tim saying, "See, she loves me the most!" It was so cute that I couldn't bear to argue with him. ;) He was talking so softly and not turning his head at all while he talked --- he didn't want to risk waking her up! As for a man walking a Yorkie, Tim did have an issue with me ordering a pink harness for Meg. He wanted red, but I thought that was too boyish, so we settled on apple green. :) Little does he know that I am having rhinestones added!!!!!!! Hahahahahaha. :D Thanks to ChattiesMom for making the harness and lead, btw. |
