New member says Hello to all Yorkie lovers! Hi! My name is Mark and myself and my wife Cyndi have two Yorkies, one whcih is throughbred and the other half Maltese. The one that's half Maltese lately has become obsessed with her stuffed Zebra. Carries it with her 24hrs a day, acting as if it were her baby. Has anyone ever seen this compulsive type behavior?

Thanx Carm! Yea, we were wondering how long it would last, but she seems to be getting away from babying it too much. Thanx for the reply and hope to talk with you again. Cyndi & Mark

Welcome to Mark, Wifey, Yorkie and Yorktese Welcome to YorkieTalk Mark and family. I think the obsessive/compulsive behavior is rather common. My Chizziewink has OCBD Obsessive Compulsive Ball Disorder. She is totally obsessed with playing ball.

My moms Chi went thru the same thing...She carried this little duck everywhere. the first time she did mom thought she wanted to play and took the duck from her and gave it a good toss...The dog was hysterical...She began crying and ran after this duck...never brought it back to mom. She was trying to show mom her new baby, not have her throw it...She did this on several of her heat cycles...
