| Amazed how much shes changed him Im so amazed at how much my baby Callie has changed my grandpa in a great way! I live with my grandparents and my grandpa isnt really into animals and at first really didnt want much to do with her well now when he goes to the store he will buy her treats, if she wakes up before 8 when he goes to the mall to walk he will stay home and watch her and let me go back to sleep for a bit happily, he will give up his chair durning the day and open the window shade so she can lay in the chair in the sun and look out the window, if the weather is nasty and its been a while sense shes gone out the doogy door he will walk her outside to go potty, when the weather is nice he will go outside and play with her its amazing how much she has changed him. To walk out and shee his sitting in his chair reading his paper and her next to him in her little chair sleeping where he has covered her up just makes me smile. Hes so good with her now and she just loves him so much. He wont let her sit on his lap yet but I think so it might happen. He even worries about her like me and my grandma know that going to the groomer kinda stresses her out and she will sleep the rest of the day and my grandpa came in the kitchen where me and my grandma where last time Callie got groomed and he goes I think getting groomed stresses her out it was so nice to see he worries about her too. He talks to her and says he loves her is so amazing my little 13 pound baby has changed him. I just had to share my amazement with yall.

| My dad retired in July 06 and for a retirement gift I bought him a puppy (my mother knew I was doing this). My dad has generally been an unhappy person, very pessimistic, grumpy, etc. this dog has changed his whole personality, he is generally a very happy person know, his entire day is centered around this dog, he is totoally spoiling him. It is very cute for both me and my kids to see my dad (their grandpa) like this.

| Way to go to Yorkie power . I am so glad to see your dog bringing so much happiness to your grandpa. Isn't it sweet to see people that say they isn't really into animals ended up loving them so much? It just never cease to amaze me how much Yorkies can change a person. My hubby never like dogs too but now he is so in love with Pao. He will carry him and kiss him non-stop all over his face while messing up his hair and tell him "Daddy loves you" and gives him a goodnight kiss before he sleeps.

| What a nice story! I have to say, I'm not surprised. Yorkies can kind of have that effect on people...

| Thank you for sharing that. It just warms my heart to hear other stories of how these little ones share their love. I love our kids, but never more so then when I see them go out of their way to lure someone new into loving them. Whether it's with their vigorous lively barking enthusiam as they greet everyone who comes into our home or how they quietly with gentle care approach someone who is scared of them. These Yorkies really seem to be in tuned to the people around them. You be sure to give Callie a big hug and tell her you appreciate her efforts.

| Awwwww! That is so sweet. I hope it changes my parents just like how it changed your grandparents. My parents are not happy about me getting my puppy at all. But like I said to them - I pay house bills every month, I'm always cleaning now (not like how I used to when I was in high school) and I feel like I earn this puppy - kinda like a present to myself. I've always been an animal lover and I had my eyes on yorkies for like 4+ years. And now that I can afford it why not get it right? But I have a slight feeling that my parents are going to losen up once they see her adoable face. =] |
