| Maybe get an older one around her age that way you'll have less puppy type training to go through again? It's whatever you feel you're up for since you've already experienced what it's like to go through the puppy stage with your little girl. Be sure to address any territorial issues no matter which you decide upon and all will be well! Either would make a great companion for your girl. |

| Hi and Welcome to Yorkie Talk to you and Layla. I think one her age or a little older would work out better. It would be loke 2 puppies @ 1 time...LOL Good-Luck in finding the new family member!! Please post pics when you do!! Blessings,

| hi.. it really just depends if you have the time for a puppy.. and if you want to get a baby who you will have to train, etc. if so, i would definitely recommend it! we got Gemma when she was a puppy & Avie was 1 year 4 months old! they love each other so so much!! best thing we could have done!

| I'd be inclined to go with an older dog if it's known to have been favorably socialized with other dogs. Nothing wrong with a cuddly puppy though.
