| Banning Thread Dictator Donating Member | Interesting topic! Both of ours have nutty rituals. Jack used to ALWAYS sleep at the foot of my wife's side of the bed. We attributed it to him liking her electric blanket but being afraid of Eddie, who normally snuggles next to my wife's head. But by morning, Jack always ended up with me, snuggled tight up against my chest. Lately, he's been starting out on my side of the bed but under the blanket. I just bought a nice new down blanket, so that might have something to do with it. Again, by morning, he's plastered up against my chest. It's my favorite part of the day -- snuggling with a 4-pound furball. Eddie will either sleep off the bed or snuggle with my wife. There's no middle ground. When he gets up on the bed after she's asleep, he'll walk over to her and hit her with his paw, waking her up and telling her it's time to make room for him. She happily obliges.

| Senior Yorkie Talker | Lexi absolutely HAS to sleep in between us. ITS A MUST.. i can try all i want to move her to my side, next to the wall, but before i put her down shes already on her way back in between us. one night, the fire alarm was beeping because the batteries were dying and BF went to go fix it.. well it ended up going off and she ran under the covers with her face up my crotch! haha

				 | Toby heads to the bedroom around 10 each night. If I am not already there, he comes out and makes sure I know it is time for bed. Once he is sure that Rudy is in his crate and I am in bed, he snuggles next to me with his head just under my chin. After a few licks goodnight, he falls fast asleep. But every night he finds his way up on the pillow above my head, and I end up sleeping with front paws down my face and back paws sprawled down the back of my neck. Gotta love them

Bentley would rather sleep with me than my boyfriend. He sleep either in the crook of my arm, across my chest (kind under my chin like a scarf!) or he sleeps by my tummy if i am on my side. I looove cuddling with him and when he is sleeping is the only time i get to cuddle with him cause he wont sit still if he is not sleeping or just waking up. He usually gets up once in the middle of the night/early morning to go potty but then comes back to bed by climbing the bean bag chair at the end of our bed hehe

				 | We have three sleeping with us. Dillon is the one that like to sleep near my head or right up against me. Dixie always sleeps in the middle and Bebe sleeps at the foot of the bed. When I first get in bed Bebe always has to walk up on my chest and give me a good night kiss. |

				 | Depends really whether I start on one of my sides or on my back. If I lay on my back, my furbaby will either curl up in my "crotch" (lol) or she'll come up close to my shoulder and squeeze in between me and the pillows. If I lay on one of my sides, she somehow finds a way to curl up just below my arm, all up close and personal. It's kinda comforting to me knowing that she's right there with me throughout the night. Plus, she helps keep me warm. |

				 | usually Duke tries to take over my spot but when I get into bed he goes to the top of my pillows, sometimes he ends up on top of hubby's in the middle of the night. Lucie has to find a pillow to dig at for a few minutes, then she comes back to in between hubby and I, if he is on his stomach she comes to me, digs at the blanket and lays down against my stomach. If she doesn't like how I am laying then she goes to hubby's stomach or in between his legs. And if she doesn't think she has a sufficient spot she walks the entire bed until I create a spot for her, this generally involves me "fluffing" some of the blankets.

				 | Lilly usually lays up beside of me at first, I always pet her and massage her before I watch a little TV. Usually, she'll nudge herself under the covers and sleep at my feet... I don't know why she loves being under the covers so much. However, there usually isn't a morning that I don't wake up with a sweet little Yorkie sitting above my head digging on my head and giving me tons of kisses.

				 | We have a King-sized bed with doggie stairs, so they can come and go as they want. There is a satin pillow down at the bottom of the bed, and sometimes one (or both) of them will sleep on that. However, a goodly portion of the time I'll wake up in the morning and find that they have snuggled into the hammock at the bottom of the bed. After climbing into bed a few times, the mattress scoots all the way up to the headboard, leaving a gap at the bottom between the mattress and the footboard. Usually the comforter falls in between, making a nice little sling/hammock, a perfect little snuggle place. They always want to BE with us, but not necessarily ON us. Actually, because we're very sound sleepers, their choice of sleeping area is very safe for them. |

				 | We watch television in bed, so Punkin likes to be in bed with us, but when it's time to actually go to sleep she'll slip off into her crate. While we're watching television she starts between us and after a good belly rub and some attention she climbs up my chest, over my head and settles herself in the pillows above my head. When we're ready to sleep she hops off into her crate and curls up for the night. She will sleep in bed with us when we're traveling, I think she feels closer to us in a strange environment, but here at home, it's the crate for sleeping! |

				 | Jamie goes to sleep under the covers on my left side and then when he gets hot he climbs on top of my head until he gets cold and goes back to point one. It is not at all unusual to wake up in the morning with a krick in my next or fur in my face as he will keep leaning on me until I turn my head so he can sprawl on my neck!

				 | They go to bed with daddy at 10-11pm and when I go to bed later this is what I find. I took this at 1am. Then they migrate over to me. We have "bed rules" no playing, no fighting, no toys, no chewies. I have also included "naptime" with daddy.

				 | We let our two little Yorkies sleep with us. Our bed is quite high up and we bought stairs for them to climb up on the bed. Trevor sleeps between us and Teddy sleeps at the foot of the bed. Both are snugglers. Teddy sleeps curled up in a ball and loves the blankets over him and Trevor sleeps on his back with his legs straight up or on his side. They are the cutest little devils in the world. |
