| Look at all her teeth I have been talking about how CHloe has all her baby teeth and her adult teeth are coming in. It pretty funny to see her chomping down on something with her tiny mouth filled with all those teeth. SHe looks like a shark. Well, I finally got a pic that shows her 4 canines molars( I think thats what they are called) on the bottom. Its crazy looking

How old is Chloe? Moxie is 5.5 months old and still has his baby teeth. The Vet is putting off fixing him till his teeth come in in case he needs to get the babies pulled...by the way your pic is really cute.

I plan on it when I get her fixed which I am putting off for awhile because I am tooo scared. SHe is 8 months now and my husband really wants to wait until she is at least a year. So I am hoping she loses some teeth by then because if not she has so many , I am too scared of the surgery for removing that many teeth. It cant be good. Dont most peoples yorkies just get a few removed? I'd have to get at least 10-15. Maybe more, its hard to tell. Its crazy in that mouth!

teeth Unfortuately, having double bottom canines is a problem if not pulled soon...see how the adult teeth are being pushed out if line. They will not move into the correct position if you wait much longer...and that results in the bottom teeth striking the top ones in the worng place..then that pushes the top teeth adult out of line. It makes them more prone to early adult tooth loss also..a real mess that effects their health and well being. She looks a fine size for spaying..at 8 months she isn't going to grow much more...everything is a risk..driving to the store, but we must do it... I have seen Yorkies get a mouth full pulled, plus a spay/neuter..best wishes Last edited by YorkieRose; 08-27-2005 at 12:18 PM.

harley's bottom teeth look the same! I went for regular check up today and he will have to have 4 pulled when he is fixed. We are planning to do that sometime in October. I brush his teeth but not very well and sometimes his mouth smells because food gets caught in it. 2 of his upper front teeth look like they are almost sticking straight out. He will be 10 mos old in October. I'm so glad to see a picture! I could never get harley to stay still even with a treat. How much does chloe weigh? She looks a lot like harley size and all. harley's mom

Wow, those teeth looks sharp! Trixie just got all of her adult teeth in, they are a little smaller though... Now the big side teeth are coming through. So hopefully those side baby teeth are coming out soon.

I sure hope Chloe doesn't bite! Sometimes it's best to take care of the teeth as soon as possible. Perhaps the next time she is in the vet you can ask about that...

Hi finally someone else with my problem! Porscha is 10 months old and still has most of her baby teeth and her adult teeth, the best thing I can say is wait and give her lots of things to chew on! Slowly more and more of her baby teeth are coming out but she still has quite a few. The vet told me that it was $125 for the visit and medicine and such THEN $7 per tooth to pull them!! Crazy so I am trying to wait as long as I can before I go in. Apparently if the teeth aren't taken care of after a while they decay and can cause an infection!
