Bailee was due for her last round of shots and being so small, the vet decided to keep her until noon, just to make sure she doesnt have a reaction!(she got an additional shot that usual) im sooooo upset, i cried ont he way home. She cried and cried when I left her!! I feel like such a bad mommy, i left my baby and she doesnt understand why!

| Aw I know it is hard but I do think it is best for the vet to watch them for a short bit for reactions. One of mine had a reaction one time to her shots. It sounds like you have a good vet

| It's good that your vet is playing it safe. At least it's only for a few hours, & not overnight. You'll be so glad to see each other when you pick her up.

| It is best that they are watched for awhile and noon will come quickly. But for next time, you don't have to leave her at all. Ellie had a very bad vaccine reaction a couple years ago and now we just hold her in the lobby for awhile. We avoid a hospitalization fee. Ellie is more comfortable. We are happy to be with her. And the vet is in the next room in case there is a problem. We waited for 30 minutes with her last vaccine. Just tkae a book or something.

| awww, poor baby...and poor you too!! But how extra special luck you are to have your vet also be your aunt!! Just give her a little extra one-on-one time after you pick her up, it'll make you both feel much better.
