| Same thing happened to my Mom's dog too. She came early & we were on the phone talking with vet or vet asst the whole time. The first pup was stuck in the canal & when we got to the vet the one sac was out a little and went from black to clear. Didn't know if that pup would make it. They did a c-section & all 4 pups lived. We bottle fed them at first as well. Since this was her first litter & she didn't see the pups born it took about 45 minutes for her to start nursing the pups when she was allowed to. Once she started nursing mother nature kicked in with her & pups & she started taking care of them. I'm sorry you lost one but happy you have 3 precious new ones! Congratulations! I know you and Mom are tired. Praying she will be able to feed her babies. HAPPY BIRTHDAY!

| I'm so sorry to hear that it went this way. Thankfully Pigglet is doing well. My Mom's Yorkie went through a terrible experience and had a pup stuck in the birth canal. She was pregnant with 7 puppies and lost 5. The did a c-section and Brany still nursed the 2 tiny surviving pups from the beginning. We encouraged her and the pups because it wasn't natural and instant at the time of birth. I will pray for your new little ones. Please try and get them to suckle. Their instinct is to push their noses upward, so place their snout below the teet after getting some milk extracted. Please keep us updated and I am truly hoping to hear wonderful news from you. |

| So happy that Piglette is home and fine and that she loves her babies. I love the idea that she wants to "show" them off ...

| I'm so glad for you and am sorry for your loss of one. It takes a lot of courage to breed, not sure I could do it but what a blessing as well. |
