I lost a 7 month old this time last year to congenital kidney failure and even though we only had her 5 weeks myself and the other 2 yorkies were so depressed when she passed. The breeder gave us Roxie about a month later and while it was hard at first to not always think of Dixie, the others were happy to have another playmate.
