Changing color Hi everyone, My 3 1/2 month old yorkie was born black and tan. However, he now has a gray/white spot on top of his head (which was originally black). Does anyone know what this means? Will it continue to change? Thanks, Melissa

He's becoming a man Iam not sure if you've seen an adult yorkie, but they are all born black and tan and eventually as they mature they get their "adult colors" which in most cases is steel blue/silver and tan/gold.

Yeah, my 6 month old girl has a whole mixture of colours on her head! lol Freom black to silver to ginger/copper! For me the change in colour is one of the most exciting things about Yorkies, you never really know how they'll turn out - it's so cool! I cant wait to see! lol Jess

It's completely normal. My little one has grayish/silver on her head and I've been noticing that it's changing again. Looks like it's getting a little bit whiter now.

aww I know how you feel. My girl is changing too. I was hoping for a gold but it seems like she is going to be black, gold and silver. What are we going to do that's how it goes. I love my little girl even if she looks old. Marlene Mia's Mom
