help! whining when picked up?

I would keep a close eye on little Benny. If he still seems lethargic and uncomfortable after 24-36 hours, I would bring him back for a follow-up just to be sure.

Did your vet include Leptospirosis in the boosters? "Lepto" is not one of the core vaccines, and I've heard a lot of small dog breeders advice NOT to give it. My breeder did not want me to give "Lepto" to my Yorkies. Some small dogs do not react well with it. I think I've read other postings about Leptospirosis and Yorkies on YT.

Rabies

Non-Core Vaccines
-------------------
BORDETELLA (Kennel Cough, Canine Cough)
PARAINFLUENZA
LYME VACCINE... considered a CORE vaccine in endemic areas
LEPTOSPIROSIS (all 4 types)

I would stick to the Core vaccines. I also do titters, as I hate over-vaccinating my babies.
