| Fluff is everywhere Maxwell just tore up a stuff toy and the fluff is everywhere. It's not the first time he has done this. Is he mad cause I am not playing with him~? It is like freezing outside and is like 8 degrees and even lower for the wind chill which feels below 0. It's too cold to play ball outside or walk him. I presume he's upset. What do you all say~? |

YT 1000 Club Member | I think they just love to get the squeakers out. It's like it's the prize in the cereal box. They end up with one tiny little hole and that's all she wrote. I have now started sewing them back up with no stuffing in them. After I sew it and give it back to her it's like a new toy. It also could be that he's bored so he's chewing on them harder then usuall too. Last edited by roxies_mom; 01-15-2009 at 08:31 PM. |

YT 2000 Club Member | Our Axl likes to get the squeakers out of toy's too. He has defluffed many toy's and some of them aren't his either! Jeter started to hide his favorite toy's in his puppy purse cause Axl is too big to get into it Axl does it just cause he likes getting the squeaker, he is never bored with us having the 4 kids and 2 other Yorkies

| Crosley loses her mind over squeaky toys! She tears them apart within minutes to get the squeaker out! We no longer buy them! We only buy the Kong/Dr. Noys toys where you can remove the squeakers and most of them have minimal to no stuffing!

| Zeke is a hard "chewer" and when he gets a toy open the evidence is all over the place. I have a grocery store bag full of casualities. Zack on the other hand is still working on the same "squeaky" bone. I like the idea of re-sewing them w/o the stuffing.

| No matter how much exercise he gets or how much I play with him, Chuck stiil gets the squeakers out of toys if he gets the chance I don't think he is doing it out of boredom I think he just likes toring up stuff toys. I don't buy them anymore

| Bella Too Bella love to destroy the toys just to get through the fluff to the squeaky thing. Only problem like you said is that the fluff gets everywhere. I have to run around and pull it off her mouth. Gotta love them though their just so cute. Especially with fluff. |

| Absolutely ... they get stir crazy just like we do so get out the "indestructable" toys and play chase with him in the house tug of war.... What my guys LOVE is get a REALLY durable old pair of jeans I put my hand in the leg and make scatching noises They think it's a scurrying animal and they go crazy But make sure the jean material is durable because they will bite hard

| I stopped giving mine fluffy toys, because all they want to do is pull the squeaker out.

| My fletcher will do that... not out of madness... maybe boredness, maybe because he has an obsession with the squeakers and will not rest until all his toys have none of them. then he'll get upset that none of his toys squeak anymore! **SIGH** LOL Try playing fetch with him or something ... get his activity level up... he definately could be bored.

YT 1000 Club Member | This just reminded me of something. Have any of you ever seen those little toys (mostly for kids) that has a string that you pull out and the whole toy vibrates? Roxie loves loves those things. She has some that she's tore open and the thing still works and is still attached and she drags it around like that. She has a fit if you try to take it away from her. Those toys look like they have guts hanging out of them, it's pretty funny to see. |

| I bought one of those and Triss still tore the face off the teddy bear and got stuffing everywhere! She LOVES stuffed animals, but I just cant find one she cant tear apart. She has an inherant sense of the toy's weaknessess, I think.
