She was showing clips on today's show of other gadgets and it was just so funny - if you do watch her show today, watch for the one where she is showing a clip of the ear piece thing - I cracked up at that!! I love when she talked about "groceries not being the only junk in the lady's trunk" - LOL!!

Oh and yeah, we do get her early - her show comes on at 11 a.m. here! They also repeat it later in the afternoon

I sorta agree with this but really they can endorse what they want - and it's not like this food has any by-products in it. It's not an awful food. It may not be up to snuff for some and too expensive for others, or w/e but in the end it's not a terrible food from looking at the ingredient list.

And in the end an educated consumer isn't going to hop on the band wagon just because it has Ellen's name on it. I think us self-educating types deserve more credit...?

I wonder if Ellen will be donating anything to any animal charity from some of her profits? I too love her show and watch all of the time. I most likely won't switch Roxie's food but I will tune into to see what it's all about.

That's a good question - I hope she does!

There is a guy on HSN that sells pet products and he dontates some of the profits to animal shelters which is really great

I love Ellen , though I hardly get to see her show anymore. I will watch her on QVC even if I don't buy the food , she will be worth watching.

i have tried the can food from the halo brand. i put a small spoonful of it on a baby spoon; milu sniffed it and made a disgusted face and backed away from it.

i tried it because i saw ellen talk about it before on her show. she said it's human grade and that we can eat it too

(she said, just add salt)

anyways, i have no idea if it is a good food or not!

i think ellen probably became a part owner in the company because ellen is a big animal lover and she wants to help out when it's a good brand that she believes in. i would imagine that she did the research necessary before recommending it and telling everyone that she is a part owner. (because i think that if it turned out to be bad food for pets, she will get A LOT of criticism for it)

that said. ellen is still not a nutritionist, and just because she has good intentions doesn't make her an expert in canine nutrition.
