| Piccolo spins three times before I set her dog food bowl on the mat. She always has and it is so cute. She can also "turn around" as a trick, both to the right and to the left. Thanks for starting this thread. Very interesting!

| My toy poodle used to do that when he was excited (always in the same direction). Even after he lost the sight in his left eye in an accident, he still would spin in that direction. He konked himself on the head a few times getting too close to furniture but he just would not change directions.

| Donating YT 500 Club Member | thanks everybody for all the replies i have enjoyed reading them , poppy only doesthis for a couple of seconds if she knows you are walking towards her biscuit barrel , or if she knows you are opening the drawer where her lead is kept , she just cant contain her excitement a bit like an excited toddler lol love jill n poppy xx |

| riley does this! if my boyfriend & i are gone for more than one hour he waits by my bedroom door (him & maddie stay in my room if i leave) and then when it opens he runs and jumps up on the bed and wags his tail and spins until i come pet him and give him attention lol and now that we have madison she can't jump up yet so shes on the floor doing circles wagging her little tail its soooooooo cute

| When Adie is playing fetch she races back to you, lets the ball go as she approaches (literally throwing it to you) and then spins once. If you don't throw the ball right away she will bark an spin one more time. She loves that game so I'm sure she does it to dispell nervous energy. |
