| Funny way of playing So here we have Nia she has been with me for 1 week now. Her and the girls get along great but there is just one odd thing: when Nia plays she puts her butt on Tanj and Febi. She like does this backing up thing and pushes them around with her butt. Anyone familiar with this strange behavior, because I am not. |

| I had that same experience with Annabelle, my little dachshund that I lost in June, 2008 . She would play with Dixie, our other dachshund and would put her hiney to her. I assumed it was because she was 6 lbs. and Dixie is 15 lbs. It was so funny to watch.

| I haven't seen that behavior, but it sure sounds yorkie-like! lol Kandi does like to sit on Gizmo's head though. I'm pretty sure it's a dominance thing.

Thor's Human Donating Member | A friend of a friend had a female retriever who did something similar. When she greeted people, she would rush over and furiously rub her butt on them. I figured it was the female version of humping. |

| Well as long as things don't get out of hand-Febi or Nia getting angry at each other I think they are just fine. |

| Boo bumps you with his butt when he wants you to play with him. He did this to Gracie Ruth when we got her. It was hysterical because Boo's 10 lbs and G was 2 lbs and he'd bump her, very gently, but she'd still fall over. He'd turn around, see her on the floor and would have a look like, "Why are you laying down? Get up! Let's play!" He'll also hike his leg and walk around your leg, like a cat would when they rub against you. The first few times he did this it freaked me out, I thought he was going to pee on me. But it quickly became obvious it was part of his invitation to play routine. Boo's got G doing the butt bump now too. They are both working on training Yogi, but he just views it as a prime opportunity to bite an unprotected butt! Little stinker!!

| lol ... Yeah That sounds familiar Mine do that as a blocking technique If one is going for the other they turn around and present their butt seems like they are blocking the other so they don't bite their heads But it does sound like your Yorkie is showing dominant behavior
