i give mine diamond dog food.. and when that doesnt appeal to them, i boil boneless chicken and chop into tiny pieces.. they love that..
as far as the ears: Bella's started to droop once i got her home and if you'll shave the backs of the ears and you can just use regular scotch tape around the ears for a few days... that worked for us..

Congratulations on your new baby.
You have been given lots of GREAT advice so far and like another poster suggested read as many posts as you can here on YT and you will learn soooooooooo much. That is what I did and I learned a TON.
