Okay, so why do we do it?

i also read somewhere that some yorkie owners think of their puppies as little people. thats why they dress them up...

i do think of milu kind of like a little person...

but it's important that they know they are dogs, so i try to take her to puppy socials and classes for her to see other dogs...otherwise she starts acting strange sometimes, she hops around the house once in a while and she loves to eat grass (i have bunnies, so i think she is copying them...)

Honestly, because Gucci gets soooo excited when he sees me with PJ's in my hand lol. He loves his clothes.. I don't know if it's because they feel cozy to him or because they keep him warm but he obviously has a reason I would think My reason would be he looks stinkin cute!!!

I put clothes on Baron and Sammy @ night when it's cold in the house! They both jump on the sofa to get dressed. Sammy lays on his back with all 4 legs in the air. It's like dressing roadkill. Now, Baron likes to help, He puts his head in the head hole and lifts his front legs up. I lift the back ones. Then they run to each as to say, Hey don't I look COOL!! They get reallly excited when I get them new collars and run everywhere shaking there heads to make the tags jingle. They also have jammies and just LOVE them on. Even when I had my 5 Chinese Shar-Pei I'd put clothes on them. If people comment I tell them their mine and I like to see them happy!!

People tell me that I treat Sam as my own personal dress up Barbie....

Sam loves his stuff and shows it off when he is wearing it. He loves the attention he gets it.

When Sam wants the clothes off then I will take them off and not make him wear them. Most times tho, soon as I get something out, he comes over to me.

When I let him go naked and people see us out... I always say.. Oh Im just lettin play like a dog today....

i bought two sweater things for jackson but he cannot STAND them. so i'd rather just not put anything on him if he doesn't want to. and going outside doesn't seem to bother him at all so there's really no need. it hasn't gotten ridiculously cold here yet but it's definitely been chilly and he never seems to mind.
