| ![]() Maybe instead of spending a bunch of money on a puppy from a breeder, you can rescue one? You'd be saving a dog and giving Ted E a playmate at the same time and it would be cheaper on you.

| ![]() Oh don't rehome him. You sound like a good mommy with your baby's best interests at heart. I think he is about the same age as my older puppy and I have noticed she is slowing down and acting more "grown up". It may be the same with Ted E. he is just starting to act more like a dog and not a puppy. Later when you are able it would be nice if you could get another. I have two and they do play nicely with each other. On the other hand your baby probably gets much more one on one than dogs whose people work outside the home. |

| ![]() I'm so glad you are not going to rehome him. He is probably fine as an only pup but I think he would love to have another pup to play with. It wouldn't even necessarily have to be a Yorkie but I think a small dog from a rescue would be ideal. You are a great mom for thinking of him and wanting the best for him. The fact that you would be willing to give him up to be sure he is happy says a lot about your love for him, in my opinion. I'm really glad I got my second pup to keep Daisy company.

YT 1000 Club Member | ![]() It sounds like he has a wonderful home with you. Your all he knows at this point. He doesn't remember life before coming to live with you. If you put him in a new home he'd probably be depressed then from missing you so much. He might not get as excited if you weren't there. It's just like kids...always happy to see playmates but wouldn't want a new Mom! He will be even more attached to you after he hits a year old. I would do like the others suggest and take him to a dog park or someplace he can just play for awhile. The one thing with dogs is they love you unconditionally. You have that from him and I would keep it. |

| ![]() I also work from home. Our Yorkies are 3 years old now. They are loosing their puppy enery and while I work, they both sleep. We are on the same schedule. I think that if your puppy likes to be around other people, that's a sign he is very well raised. You shouldn't give him a new home. You are doing a great job. He just has lots of puppy energy. |
