| Well, Its very strange that a dog will soil its "Den". Have You tested for a UTI? May be pshycological. Neither dog will whine during the night do they? |

| its strange, ive never understood how moms hear their babies cry at nite(i sleep like a rock) but now I wake up at the least lil whimper...anyway the second i hear that i get up and let her out...vet already ruled out UTI, but you may be on to something with the psychological, the breeder left her in a large crate peed pad on one end bed on the other, could this be it???the light bulb just went off...

| I wonder if this is some form of separation anxiety at night in the crate. |

I ♥ Joey & Ralphie! Donating Member | The crate is probably still too big, they need to be no bigger than allowing the dog to turn around and stand up. Joey did the same thing until we put him in a small car seat type of bed. If that is the size it is, then you also need to clean it with Natures Miracle to get all urine smell out, or she will continue to think that is where she is to pee. This includes bedding and blankets as well. When Joey was a puppy, I let him out twice a night to pee. He slept next to me, and woke me, and I placed him on a pee pad in the bathroom, and then back in his crate, eventually it was just once a night, and then he moved to our bed. I think you are reading too much into it, she probably just has to pee.

| Oh, She is still very young. All night long may be too long for her to hold it. I may suggest setting your alarm clock for every 3 hours for a few nights and see how things go. My mom tells me that when we had our samoyed husky, She didnt like to wake anybody up and she would got in the corner and pee. Its weird how the dog knew that you didnt want to be disturbed while sleeping..lol.. I think its just a puppy thing. Her bladder is stil QUITE small. |
