I will have my husband help me with the toothpaste. Harley apparently made some cow friends today. That or he was just their poo inspector.

My husband and I have not eaten dinner yet so I am going to sign off for the evening to fix him a sandwich.

I really do appreciate each and every one of you and the thoughts/prayers that you sent to our precious Harley. I believe that you guys helped to bring him back to us!

I've had all of the posts from this thread forwarded to my Blackberry because I was just praying for an update on sweet little Harley. And I was just giddy as soon as I got the message that said that you found him. And by the end of your message (like many of us) I was in tears of joy because you found him! THANK GOD!!!!

What a relief - I'm thrilled Harley is home now, safe and sound....and you can rest tonight!

Btw, do be careful if you use toothpaste to remove the odor, it is toxic to dogs if ingested.

We finally came home because our children had not eaten and because we wanted to start making some phone calls. We called a 24 hour emergency clinic, left our info, called the police station and left our info as well as the animal control in the city that we live outside of. I got the kiddos settled with dinner and my husband headed back out to drive some more....both of feeling hopeless at this point...like a needle in a haystack. Once my husband left, I stood on our garage step, with the door up. I just stood there crying and trying to come to terms with never seeing my baby boy. Just about that time, I hear a dog not too far away barking. I'm thinkin' maybe, just maybe, that dog is barking because Harley is in his yard. So, I walk out into my driveway and about that time I see this dark shadow running across one of our neighborhood streets. Here I am, no shoes, no socks, no coat and crying...I take off running down the street yelling his name. That shadow is now no where to be found until finally I call his name super loudly and from a distance, I see his adorable face look up at me. I am still running, he is frozen, like in shock, then you can tell it hits him at the same time that it truly hits me....WE FOUND EACH OTHER...WE REALLY DID!!!!!!! Harley then takes off running faster than I have ever seen him move and he literally lept into my arms. I am blawing as I am running back to our house, trying to keep my knees from crumbling because I feel like I am going to pass out...Harley was scratching the heck out of me because he just wants to get home as soon as possible. Once we get inside I literally fell against the wall because my knees just couldn't hold me any longer. He had to have three baths because he reeks of cow poop. He had all sort of twigs and leaves stuck in his coat, but he is happily sleeping on the bed next to me right now.

...As for the cow poo...sorry I don't know how to rid of that. You may try a skunk deodoratizor from a petstore???? I don't know; maybe worth a try. So thankful your baby boy is home with you tonight!!!!!

Oh my gosh...sweet Harley!! I am just SO thankful that he is home now and is happy and safe with you and the babies! Good GRIEF! What a HUGE scare you had!!! I would have totally lost my mind girl!

Tam omg girl....this is the EXACT picture I had in my head the entire time I was reading about him...oh my gosh!! You know I just love love love him...he has THE sweetest little loveable teddy bear face EVER! I swear I love him to bits! Awwww!! HUG HIM FOR ME!!!!
