| Haha- it's ok, Nancy. I appreciate your way of describing things. Bravo.

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | What food are you currently feeding? Changing that could help immensely. Also, using a probiotic/digestive enzyme product can help if he is actually having undigested food come out the other end (leaving it still smelling like "food" to the dog). You could also try Solid Gold's S.E.P. (stop eating poop).

| This thread is quite interesting. Walker doesn't go for his own poop. Only other dogs gross stuff. Seems he can smell its yummy goodness from miles away. Good luck and I hope you find a solution since it isn't the most pleasant problem. haha. |

| Furbutts = LOVE Donating Member Moderator | Oh goodness ! Have you read how many dogs have died this year from eating Nutro? I don't mean to scare you...then again...I kinda do, I guess. I would not feed Nutro under any circumstances with what's been going on there this past year.

| I have heard of the pineapple but it has to be fresh pineapple. Canned pineapple don't work. |

I don't know why canned pineapple wouldn't work, how many people are going to have fresh on hand every day? I've read that many people have had success with canned.

| YT 1000 Club Member | I used to have a female dog (she was a big rescue dog) who always ate her own poop even when frozen on the ground. Ever had popcicle turds? It drove us crazy. Not much we could do about it but make her stop when we saw it. Roxie can't get far enough away from anyones poo...she'll be running across the grass and come upon a pile and jump as high as she can to avoid it. It's really quite funny how quick this happens. The problem I do have with her is that she will go downstairs to the cat box. That's just plain nasty. She's not even allowed down there and she knows it. I've heard it's because cats digest whole pieces of food. Still yuck...drives me crazy because her bowl has food in it all the time so why would she want that? |
