Here in Canada , its against the law to pass a Yorkie as purebred if he or she is not registered . Your so-called breeder could be in trouble if she let someone know she is selling purebred Yorkies without papers . Registration certificate is always free. If she ask a price for unregistered and another price for registered , she is illegal . |
the lady isn't a breeder...she just has a female and male yorkie.,.and well...you know...he was also the only puppy in the litter |

I would never pay 800 for a dog with no papers. That is a very high price!! The vet cant tell you it is a purebred either. I would contact a reputable breeder and get a registered Yorkie that comes with a health guarantee. |

and her breeders told her that her dogs were purebred..but they really do look exactly like yorkies..exept the dad's colour...loads of black |

She didn't make the dogs breed for money...and around here it's hard to find a breeder for yorkies that isn't a puppy mill..we don't want a mother to son bred puppy |
yorkie pups are very black! and just like the other lady said, bailees toes that are white are turtig tan/gold...please do sum research and find a reputable breeder and also learn about this breed a lil more, please |

new Brunswick....and that's what she paid for hers |
ok everyone has tried to be helpful but you arent taking the advice anyone is giving you. It is very good advice,if you do not care for it,you should not have posted...just my opnion. |
As Olivier told you . If she is selling you a purebred Yorkie pup . She must have him registered by the Canadian Kennel Club . If not , for the price she is asking , she's acting like a puppymiller do and she is illegal to sell an unregistered dog as purebred . |
were not sure if the parents come from a puppy mill...but the only place we can find a yorkie is at a breeder where were sure it IS a puppy mill....better to be unsure than buy one where were sure....and to find a good rep breeder for yorkies....we would have to go to another province....like quebec...its a very rare breed around here...and i know 800$ is expensive but i saw dogs at the pet store that were more than 1000$ for a mixed breed..and the puppy does have some gold....i never said it didnt....he just has some in the face |
she cant be a puppy mill cuz shes not a breeder....she only has 2 dogs and she doesnt force them to breed....it just happened..like my grandma ....her dog had puppies....and shes not a breeder |
Being that your parents are buying the puppy, there isn't really much you can do about it. I know you'll love the puppy regardless of who the parents are or if the coloring is correct. Do have your parents ask for the pup to stay with mom longer so that he can learn the ways of being a dog. Good luck!! |
She is not a breeder , I guess this puppy came from the holy spirit wish . Do whatever you want . |
Why do people ask for advice when they dont take it aghhh!!!! |
Let's be nice...I believe this is just a kid, who is asking about a puppy her parents are purchasing. |
look heather!... when people are telling me to go find another breeder where its impossible and we already paid half for the dog...its kinda hard to follow your oppinion.....all my question was....is if he was a purebreed...i never said i wouldnt buy him...i just saw some unusual things about the dad and a little about him and i asked if it was normal...people told me that we shouldnt get him at 6 weeks....and i said id ask my mom to tell the lady to keep him longer....when they told me white paws were normal i said ok....when they said try to find another breeder i tried to explain that around here its not really possible...so if all youre gonna be is rude.....stop replying...all i wanted was help about the unusual things that to some people appear normal....but its nice to have info on the colour like some people told me.....and about the breed too...like the papers....she didnt tell us she did have them...but we can ask....my mom just wanted to know also if it was possible for the vet to know in case she didnt....i know i said she didnt have the papers but she never offered them...for the others...thanks for the help :) i like knowing more about the breed and for those who told me about the unusual stuff on the puppy and dad thanks also :) |
if anyone has more info please dont hesitate to write it :) |
and im just 17 ....not a dog expert! |
i understand it is difficult to find a good breeder but i just want to stress how important it is to wait to find one! you do not want to stuck with huge vet bills later on. it is frusturating becuz you do not seem to understand quite how important it is. i can only try and convince you so many times. if you are a kid, please introduce your parents to this site. the people here are so helpful. if you want a baby to love, dont care if its purebred, and are prepared to handle possibly huge vet bills go for it. |

why would it have problems? i never saw a mixed breed pup with problems.. if the dad is a mix...he was quite healthy and playfull...so why the mix breeds ? i understand that it would be better to have a pure... but that doesnt mean the pup will have huge vet bills if his dad is a mix |
and my mom doesnt want to come on the computer.....thats why im the one asking...she wont come....but i had questions |
