That was precious made me cry -- adorable puppies -- so funny as i have that same santa that was in the background - my mom painted it but it is identical to yours

That was so heartwarming. I just loved your daughters reaction and how she immediatley ran over to hug you!! She was so gentle with the puppies and only picked up one at a time!!! You just gave her a memory that will last a lifetime! The girls are adorable

OMGoodness, My mom passed away 2 years ago and that was the only item I really cared if i got to keep. My Mom painted that Santa in 1973 and it has been out every Christmas for as long as I can remember. Lots of preciuos memories.

Where is your Mom from? We lived in Nebraska when she painted that Santa.
