| It's over ?! My kids are in bed , the dogs are curled up next to me , and I'm sitting by the fire thinking ...Wow , I can't believe Christmas is over. I have to say , I'm a little sad. It took a me while to get into the spirit this year , and when I do....It's over . Well at least it still looks like Christmas around here with toy's stacked around the family room and left over Turkey and pumpkin pie waiting in the fridge . Oh well at least new years is just around the bend so the celebration isn't completely over. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and will have a great new year.

Donating YT 7000 Club Member | aww I'm sorry you're sad. I'm sad too. I never really got into the spirit this year...just a bit this morning. I'm hoping that next year I'll be more "into" it - this is my favorite time of the year!

| That's so strange.. I never really got into it either and normally Christmas is my absolute FAVORITE time of year. Glad to know I wasn't the only one. I mean, Christmas day didn't even feel like Christmas to me.

I Love My Lil' Punkin's Donating Member | Awwww, I know what you mean...it really IS sad It just comes and goes sooo quickly - way faster than it used to when I was a kid. As you get older, time just flys by in the blink of an eye. I hate it. Of course all the decorations are up etc., but I do get sad looking under the tree and all the presents are gone....it just looks so empty now I get like this every year though. We have a Christian radio station here that plays Christmas music 24/7 starting Thanksgiving and ending after New Years....and I am going to be even MORE depressed when that goes off Ugh.

YT 500 Club Member | Here it is Dec. 26th, and it is over 50 degrees, my hubby had to go to work today, and no Christmas music on the radio. It definitely feels like it is over. However, we still have Christmas with my family tomorrow, and my daughter and son in-law are coming for New Year's for their Christmas with us. So their gifts are also still under the tree.

| It is NOT OVER for me!!!! What do you mean....... "It's OVER"???? Here is something that you need to read!!....... So many people think that after the 25th... that is IT... Boom... put away the decorations and throw away the gift boxes....... Well, it is only the FIRST day of Christmas for me!!! I am going to enjoy it to the fullest....... Here is some interesting information for you. You can also do some research on the web about it, too!!! The Twelve Days of Christmas is probably the most misunderstood part of the church year among Christians who are not part of liturgical church traditions. Contrary to much popular belief, these are not the twelve days before Christmas, but in most of the Western Church are the twelve days from Christmas until the beginning of Epiphany (January 6th; the 12 days count from December 25th until January 5th). In some traditions, the first day of Christmas begins on the evening of December 25th with the following day considered the First Day of Christmas (December 26th). In these traditions, the twelve days begin December 26 and include Epiphany on January 6. So to YOU all Today, the FIRST day of Christmas........ MERRY CHRISTMAS !!!

| Epiphany is the climax of the Advent/Christmas Season and the Twelve Days of Christmas, which are usually counted from the evening of December 25th until the morning of January 6th, which is the Twelfth Day. Still sad tho...and all my $$ is gone!
