				   | It's a shame that you have to choose between a Family Holiday Celebration or stay Home alone w/your Babies. Me and my Mom were going to drive all the way to my Sisters House in San Antonio, TX all 23 hr. drive each way not to mention the cost of Gas, Hotel and Food. I was planning to bring my 3 Yorkies and also have our other Sister fly in to meet us for Xmas. My Sister told me not to bother coming unless I was going to leave them behind, since her Husband only allows her 2 Yorkies in the Kitchen, Dining Room or Yard their "Designated Areas" since they are'nt clean enough to him. They are Crated most of the time and she only spends a certain amount of time with them. Mine on the other hand Live w/me 24/7 and go everywhere, as well as sleep w/me. My Mother actually was the one that took it personal, she was the one that said "Never mind that's OK."! I was very hurt at first and took it as an insult, but now it just makes me want to go down there just to show my Stupid Brother in Law how well Trained Yorkies behave. Whats disappointing is they don't even give you and your dog a chance? I enjoy the company of my 3 Yorkies to most of my Relatives any day "Merry Christmas"!

				   | I am so sorry you cant have your puppy on Christmas. Funny because I came here BECAUSE I am sitting alone on Christmas for this very reason. My baby wasnt welcome. Some cant have fun unless drugs and alcohol are involved. Well, I cant have fun unless I have my doggie. Id rather be around ANY dog over ANY drunk any day! haha No pup, no me. And I dont regret it a bit! Because I know had I gone, I would only be wanting to get back home to my baby. No pup, no Christmas. ![]() Like our children, this breed is so dependent we get use to caring for them. Without them around, we just dont know what to do. |

				   | Just because she doesn't like animals doesn't make for rude behavior. My family loves Roxy and my hubby's mom say's she loves her but she's always trying to discipline her, like she's trying to help, so I just keep her in my lap or hoodie, which she loves anyway, back to the subject now, maybe you could have put her inside your shirt and told ur mom u had a boob job and it was after surgery settle down period ! LOL.....we don't mind quiet time on Christmas Day after all the hub-bub either ! I hope you had a wonderful day ! |

				   | We took Shelby & Seymour with us up north for the holidays and at times there were LOTS of people, so they were actually more content and less stressed in their crates in my Mom's bedroom. (they were crated for a total of 2 hours at a time..... which is very reasonable) My family are pet people, but I was thinking about the dogs....... and after a little while in their crates, they slept! Crates should be a safe-haven for dogs, and not considered a bad place to be!!! You can teach your pets to LOVE their crates.

				   | Our son brought his 2 yorkies over lastnight for our Christmas dinner. The little girl he has used to be ours, and she's very well behaved and uses her pee pads, now her little brother, I would like for son to leave him home(never have told my son that, as I love dogs and would never hurt my sons feelings), but, he comes here and lifts his leg and we're always stepping in pee after they leave, plus he's very wild). HELP, I need belly bands for when he comes over. I love the little guy, but, he upsets all of my dogs and then the peeing. I did tell my son I'm getting him belly bands and when he comes to Grandmas, he's going to have to start wearing them. |

				   | yes phfgkl, I was even going to put on one of her doggie diapers I bought for her before she was spayedand she went into heat. I figured just to be safe. But it is easier to just stay home next year. And enjoy my immediate family and my little furbaby. And hopefully a new little boy furbaby brother for Bella. My skin kids laugh at me because I am looking to add a furbaby Boy in late February early March. I want to name him Snorkey and my kids all yell are you crazy. My daughter said we have to name him Luigi. So we will have Bella and Luigi. LOL ![]() |

				   | Maybe we could meet up one day after the Holidays. It would be nice to meet another Yorkie lover. Which is certainly not my Family. ![]() |

				   | Yes, he's neutered! He started hiking his leg at 12 weeks, was neutered at 5 1/2 mos. and still lifts his leg everywhere. Believe me, we don't own dogs unless they're going to be spayed/neutered. I only have one that isn't yet, and although she's 6 1/2 mos. she's only not quite 2 lbs and until she gets a little bigger, we're holding off, as that's what the breeder asked us to do. I'm hoping to get her spayed before she ever comes in to heat, not just because of the mess from the heat, but, because I want to keep her as healthy as I can for as long as I can |

				   | Yeah ...everybody isn't or aren't dog lovers Go figger... But unfortunately we can't change their minds You're either going to have to abide by her rules or have people over your house It's them that are missing out

| YT 500 Club Member | Although it was hard, we had to leave Sophie home alone all day yesterday while we celebrated Christmas with my hubby's family. Not because they don't like animals, they love them. They live on an acreage and have horses, a goat, a dog, cat, and bird. It is because we don't know how their dog would do with Sophie, and their a bird. Their dog is big and not used to other dogs. And Sophie goes NUTS around birds. I think she killed our parakeet by barking at it constantly (just kidding)! So we never take her out to their house. We will take her to my parents' house tomorrow though, even if my dad isn't crazy about her.
