A cat?!?! Ok... on several occasions I swear we adopted a cat and not a Yorkie.... Our little one will walk around and rub her body on the furniture and walls and anything else that she can walk up to! Half the time I expect her to meow at me!!! Does anyone else have a yorkie that does this? Why do you think she does it!

| :) No, LuLu doesn't do that, but I think the same thing sometimes. She pounces like a cat. I cannot help but laugh.

Bella does She does this alot. She really does it more when she has clothes or bows on (I think to try and get them off of her). But anytime she rubs along the bottom of the couch, the couch cushions, she stretches out and rubs along the rug. Reminds me of my cat. So funny.

This is so funny because Dymond does things that make me think about a cat, too. She will pounce then she arches her back just like cats do. I thought I was the only one with a dog that had an identity crisis. LOL

Harley too is a cat stuck in a dog body! He rubs down the walls, pounces on things, and when he goes to lay he circles a few times and then paws at his blanket to get it exactly as he wants it. Glad to know we aren't the only ones! Jeri and Harley

That's what I've always thought about my girl and figured it's a yorkie or terrier thing for having some cat in them in their ancestry or something. LOL She pounces and throws her toys around like my cat and also gives the gentle light leg licks same as my cat except I can still sort of tell their tongue textures apart without looking. They do it to let me know they're standing right there with me and wanting a little attention. They both like licking toes when I come out of the shower too. Also if I had water anywhere on me like wet hands/fingers. Another similarity is... when I offer her a spot under the covers in bed, she'd burrow herself right under. She loves being totally covered though I prefer she has her head surfaced to breathe, but that's exactly what my cat does too! She would have nothing of sticking her head out from under the blanket. She must dive right in completely! At times like these, I miss my late shih-tzu whom would always be open to spooning with me to sleep and kept my belly warm and snore through my increasing pool of sleep-drool on her.

skinny cat yep, sophie cat also rubs herself along the walls first thing in the morning just like a cat, especially where our wadrobes are just the right height between the skirting and the wardrobes. she also licks feet as soon as we get out of the shower. when we go for walks, skinny also pounces with her front paws into bushes,i wondered what she was doing at first but found out she jumps inthe bushes to scatter the lizards hiding in them !! its hlarious to watch i must try to video it !!
