| So I measured him. I don't know how long yorkies are supposed to be but Baxter seems like a long little boy. He is 10 inches from his neck to his butt. He weighs 6 1/2 lbs. I really don't care how big he is because I love him regardless. I just think he's a long little boy. Just wondering how long most yorkies are. |

| This is what the standard calls for: Body Well proportioned and very compact. The back is rather short, the back line level, with height at shoulder the same as at the rump. In other words, if he is 10" from neck to tail, he should be 10" from his shoulder to the floor. |
