| Just thought I'd add this funny note in... If you put anything on Rika's feet, she'll just stand there and look at you for the longest time with an evil look on her face and then if you do get her to walk anywhere, she'll take flying leaps instead of steps because she doesn't want her feet to touch the floor. lol It's hilarious, I wish I had a video camera to show you guys. |

That I would love to see! I will get some for Kacee and see if she will walk in them. Knowing her, she'll probably pull them off!

Last year we were still working on the potty thing so Gus really didn't go out much because he was being trained to go on pee pads. Now that he has it down pat going outside, I am thinking about getting some doggy shoes, the olny problem is, I really don't think he will like them at all.

| I live over here in the IE (Inland Empire) part of Cali (So Cal) and yeah, it's cold, but I am not going to tell anyone on the East or North East coast about it!! I'd look like a whimp! I know that No. Cal can get colder than us down here. But after spending last January in New York when they had that cold spell, and their temps w/ wind chill was like 3 degrees, I learned to appreciate and be thankful for the 'cold' here in So. Cal.! As for their feet, unless there is snow and/or rain, I don't think that you would have to worry too much about their feet. Their body temp alone is about 101. The cold ground would probably feel good. And, being that our precious children ARE DOGS, its good for their pads to be a little broken in. It helps protect them from being hurt. If their pads are too soft, they would be hurting all the time with everything that they step on.
