| Dressing your yorkie For clothing that doesn't just snap or velcro, do you pull the shirt, sweater. etc. over their head first and then place their arms and/or legs in the opening?? Or do you place their arms in the sleeve first (say from behind) and then duck their head in the opening? I've done both and I'm just curious how others go about dressing their babies or if one way is better than the other. When taking clothes off, I always take Sasha's arms out and then pull her sweater off from behind. |

| Thanks for replying! Sasha hates it when I pull anything over her head. I wish they made the head openings a little bigger. Sometimes I feel like I'm suffocating her when I pull it over but if I went up a size it would be too big for her body. That's why I tried "pushing" it in one time. She fights me either way though...lol |

| I usually put my hands underneath the sweater and push their arms through the hole. But I'm going to try your way next time. It does seem a little easier. Thanks! |

Thor's Human Donating Member | I have big head / small body issues too. Thor has a bunch of harnesses from Puppia, and I cringe a little bit every day putting the harness on / taking it off. I use Thor's natural aversion to the process to speed things up. I get him into position so he can do his little shake and pull and he pops right out. |

| Head first for my girls. I love the pullover sweaters best.

| I do the head first. I have my hand inside widening the opening and make sure her snout comes out and fit it through her head like that so that the shirt's never up against her face to suffocate her... sort of like putting on pantyhose so I'm not dragging/pulling it through her face... I do the legs similarily. When it comes to stripping, I do the hind legs first, then pop it right off the head/front. With some clothing, I hold the fabric together then pull it off if it seems like it might have a chance of getting "stuck" while coming over the head/face. |

| With Sissy I put my hand into the hole and guide her head through. She seems my comfortable with it that way.
