| I can't help with the x-pen, but for shampoo and conditioner, I absolutely love Coat Handler It leaves a really soft, silky feel to my two babies' coats. I have a yorkie and a maltese.

| For the shampoo/conditioner I'd suggest Buddy wash/rinse and the spray conditioner. It smells good and makes them so soft! I'm not sure about anything else, but you seem well set. One thing I would do is switch the food, but that would be after she settles into your home. Royal Canin isn't a good food.

| I am a new Yorkie owner (5 weeks now), but I really like the Isle of Dogs Shampoo and Conditioner. I LOVE the Christ Christensen "Ice on Ice" Leave in Detangler. It is amazing. You didn't mention a brush or comb? I've got a Chris Christensen Pin brush and a Madden Comb. Love them both, and so does Missy.

| I never had an x-pen, but what do you think about sheets of that hard shelf liner plastic rolled out. That should do it and be easy to clean as well. Oh and congrats!!!!!! There is a price to pay for all advice on this board...PICTURES of our new darling, all babies belong to all of us.

| Gus' breeder recommended Coat Handler. This is the only shampoo & conditioner product I've used on him and I couldn't ask for better.
