| Good shampoo...HELP!!! Hi All, Stomper needs baths at least once every two weeks. I know that is not good to do....but he plays outside a lot and gets stinky. Since he is allowed on our furniture (spoiled little boy!) I want to keep him clean without ruining his hair or making him itch. He is very sensitive on the skin! Do you have any suggestions of good shampoos that could be used on a regular basis for sensitive skin? I've heard oatmeal is good. Please include name brand, price and where you got it. Thanks!

| I have heard nothing but great stuff about CC system. I just bought them myself and after having ONLY used the Ice on Ice leave in conditioner, I am convinced. I want to give Coco a bath wednesday, the day before her surgery. I give Coco a bath every thursday or friday. Her coat is awesome. So Kim you could probably bathe stomper every week. Try the CC systems.

| I've only used the leave in so far because I don't want to bathe her until the day before her surgery. Because I won't be able to bathe her for a week or two after her surgery, so I want to make sure she's fresh. But I got the day to day shampoo, the day to day conditioner and the Ice on Ice leave in conditioner. You can get them on the site or Brookes site. http://www.chrissystems.com/ www.imapreciouspup.com

| We just started using the CC system. I took it to the groomer today and Tyson looked like a masterpiece -- just beautiful. He and Coty go to the groomer every other week. Even my groomer liked the system!

| I give Heidi a bath every week. I talked to a groomer/breeder who told me it was okay to bathe them as much as every 5 days, unless they have dry skin. |

| I give Missy & Max a bath every weekend and use the Chrissy System too! Its great, and they smell so good. I order mine from Brooke (she is a member here) www.imapreciouspup.com Its well worth it, about the same cost you'd pay for dog shampoo from PetCo or PetSmart but 10x's better!

| Minksheen is a very good shampoo, and has oils in it to help with the dogs skin. Here is the link where it can be purchased. I have only found it on the internet. http://www.touchofmink.com/catalog.asp?v=misc The information below is off the site. I use it on all my dogs, both show dogs and pets. I love the smell of cedar that is in it. MinkSheen Pet Shampoo's rich lather will gently clean your pet without leaving it's skin dry or irritated. Mink Oil leaves a soft, shiny, "show" quality coat, while Vitamin E soothes and prevents "hot spots". The Cedar and Citronella oils will naturally repel fleas and ticks while leaving your pet smelling great for days! The added benefit of an anti-bacterial will protect both you and your pet from the spread of harmful germs and bacteria. Used nation-wide by professional groomers that want a safe, gentle, natural shampoo |

| I bathe mine every week and use Suave 2 in 1 (shampoo and conditioner) for kids. It works fine, and if I get it in their eyes, it won't sting. Also, I only have to wash them once, because it's combined (shampoo and cond.). To each his own, I guess. |

| You can bathe him as often as he needs it as long as you use a good conditioner. I don't blow mine in summer unless I need them dry quick and I never have dry skin on anybody. There are times when mine get a rinse off daily because they get gross playing with each other. I use a lot of different things and switch around. CC systems, Mane & Tail, Rotenone, Vita Coat Oil (sometimes) and Pantene Smooth and Sleek conditioner. nobody wants to cuddle a smelly dog. |

Yorkie Kisses are the Best! Donating Member | I've been using CC Systems for almost a year now ...I LOVE it - Chanel plays outside in the hose ALOT and Cheri is right out there with her - they sometimes get more than 2 baths a week only in the summer - It's gentle AND worked wonders on reconstructing Chanel's hair which is very long.....they NEVER itch or get dry from too many baths. Sometimes I don't use the shampoo - just rinse her with conditioner and her hair is super soft here is the 2 products I think are really good - Plush Puppy : www.plushpuppy.net Chris Christensen Systems http://www.chrissystems.com |
