| Need Advice/Help Quick! I have a 9 month old yorkie, 4 pounds, LuLu. I have absolutely fallen in love with yorkies. Now....I do have a 14 year old peek-a-poo and a 6 year old dachshund. But.....I really want another yorkie. I thought I was going to be able to get another one from the lady I purchased LuLu from, but LuLu's mommy miscarried and they ended up having to take her uterus out. So.....I have been searching. This morning I went online and the first search that came up had only been posted 51 minutes before. It is for a 5 month old female, 5-6 pounds. I responded and the owner called me and we really hit it off. She said that Chloe was 5-6 pounds. She got her from a pet store . She is having to rehome her because she is going through a divorce and has a little girl and Chloe needs more attention than she can give her. She does come with papers, however, she has only had the shots that were given before they bought her. She said she had taken her to a vet and had her checked out and they said she was in great shape. In her pictures, it looks like her tail may not be docked. Is that a common occurence? Also, do you think I will be taking a risk with her still needing shots? I don't want to do anything to endange LuLu. What about the size? Is that too much of a difference? I want one really badly, but I also don't want to risk losing the bond I have with LuLu. She is very attached to me. So.....those of you that have more than one furbaby.....yorkie.....please respond quickly and help me make a decision. We are 3 1/2 hours from her and are suppose to go see her tomorrow afternoon. She is only asking $200 rehoming. Help!

| First about the bonding thing... I have a house full with 12 of these little furbutts and there is always at least one disagreement a day as to who will get to be closest to mom. I would make sure that you introduce them in a slow and gentle manner so that LuLu doesn't think she is being pushed aside. The fact that she came from a pet store worries me a little, how long has this person had this baby? Will she give you the name of the vet she's been using? If so call and talk to them, ask about past health issues, shot record and the kind of care this person has shown with her dog(s). I don't fully understand the three hour thing? is that this person telling you this or just the time limit you have set for yourself? If it is the person placing the puppy, why is she putting such a fast time limit on your decission?

We have no problem with jealousy with our 3. However Boo does get a little miffed when one of the others tries to horn in on his Daddy time. But they all have such great personalities that we haven't had any fighting issues. DH just tries to be sure to give Boo some quality 1-on-1 time so that he knows he's still Daddy's #1 boy. How is Lulu's personality? Is she aggressive, possessive, jealous if attention is given to your other 2? A lot of how she will react will be how her personality is. You may have issues with the new one being a female. Sometimes 2 females just won't get along. However, I've had 2 females at the same time before and not had a problem. Again it will really just all depend on their individual personalities and the limits and boundaries you enforce. I would recommend them meeting on neutral ground the first time. At least that way they can meet without Lulu thinking she needs to "protect" hearth and home. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

| I think it would be very nice for this Yorkie to have a loving home. Sounds like she isn't getting the best care if her shots aren't up to date etc. Just prepare yourself for some possible heartbreak. I have a petstore pug, and she's had nothing but health problems since I got her. She is 7.5 yrs old now, and I'm not sure if she'll be alive much longer. Then again, this Yorkie may be perfectly fine. You just never know... Good Luck with whatever you decide.
