| Getting enough exercise when it's cold out I live in NYC, home of the too-small apartment. My complex does have a dog run, but it's getting really cold out -- to the point where my Yorkie starts shivering the second we get outside. I've tried several different jackets/coats for her, but she seems miserable. Any suggestions for ways to make sure that Blake is getting enough exercise when it's too cold for her to go out and run? I've been playing with her vigorously when I get home at night but I'm worried that not going for a long walk, coupled with being home all day, every day, will take a toll on her health. |

| I just put coat on mine and booties, go out for a walk every day..they'll get used to it and appreciate it when it keeps them warm. When it gets really really cold I put him in sweater and then coat.

| I put a parka on keely as well as booties and A premi hat! She hated it at frist but has learned to deal with it. NFLD winters are pretty extreme so I try to dress her up as much as possible. |
