| ![]() My Daizy stayed at 5 1/2 lbs at 6 months forever....she is turning 1 year old this month and she put on an extra half pound... I doubt that yorkie will double it's weight....but could gain an additional couple pounds...which could still put her at the standard size.

| ![]() Kayla is now a year and half and weighs 8lbs. She loves to eat. lol!!! To me she is just right because even at that I am soooo afraid she will get hurt. She still looks petite and if I was guessing just looking at her you would probably not guess she weighs that much. We feed our Welliness (small bits) and they also like Blue Buffalo (small bites) She is a bugger roo to potty train. We just recently bought another schnauzer that is 5mo. old. Already trained. Yorkies are just stubborn I guess. She will go outside with them and come right back in a tee tee. Good luck with the training but you will love having a yorkie. They are cutie pies. |

| ![]() Hopefully you have gotten your new fur baby by now! I guess what I want to point out is you never know what size you will end up with! Weight chart and size chart is great but more go by size of puppys parents. My samantha more than tripled her 8week weight of 2.2 pds at 12 weeks she weighed 3.8 more than doubled that so far.....Lol however Tottsie my youngest is 8months 4.25 pds and has only gained .25 since 5 months..... lol All I know is they are addictive and I would like to get 2 more.....lol then I would need kennel license and I am not a breeder!! lol Best of luck and welcome... I feed natural balance sweet potato and fish..... pricey but worth it!!!!! No more allergies.! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
